Surrey Jive was founded by charismatic husband-and-wife duo Paul & Nicola Shepherd, who share a lifelong passion for vintage dance and culture. Their infectious energy and inclusive teaching style have created a true community where people not only learn to dance but make lasting friendships.
Their dream is simple: to preserve the magic of mid-20th-century dance and music, while welcoming everyone who wants to be part of it – whether you’re brand new or already dancing in your saddle shoes.

The Jive Squadron is the heart and soul of Surrey Jive’s performance scene – a hand-picked team of dancers who showcase thrilling, choreographed routines across the UK.
